It's a Re-Union :: Bad Boy Ent.

I always love an opportunity to do some concert photography. Even with the traveling I did last month to Hawaii then N.Y. when I got a call asking if I would be interested in photographing the three final shows of the Bad Boy Re-Union tour I of course said yes. For me Bad Boy was a label that while growing up in the 90's provided some essential soundtracks to my life. I never got a chance to go to any of the shows featuring artist from the famed label back then, so I felt had a lot of catching up to do. While Diddy has expanded beyond just a label to other successful business ventures you can tell his heart is still in music & entertaining.
The constant theme of making a good time for the concert goers was evident at the few shows I got to attend. First starting off in Oakland then Las Vegas finishing up with the final performance in L.A. at the Forum. To see people from Diddy to Faith Evans to Mase to Lil Kim to French Montana it was great to see the connection of the past to the future. With the L.A. show there was definitely a lot of rumors going around as to what special guests might show up to perform. The city of angels definitely had a surprise given that A$AP Rocky came out on stage alongside A$AP Ferg, Mary J. Blige, Nas and a performance from Dr. Dre and Snoop.
As someone who grew up listening to many of these artist it was really great to see them perform live. More noticeably was the crowds that filled these venues. Seeing how this music can touch so many lives which in turn brought so many different types of people together to enjoy these sounds was simply beautiful. Young to old, man to woman, white to black it was awesome to witness.
I managed to make some photos from my time at these three shows. In which I decided to share some of my selects below. Be sure to check them out and make time to go see some live music. I truly think it is good for the soul.
